This spacious four storey cottage by the river in Settle sleeps up to seven people in three bedrooms.
Gilchrist House is a quality four storey cottage by the river in Settle. The cottage has a room on the 2nd floor with beds which can be offered as a king-size double or twins and there is also a sofa bed. On the first floor is a double and a super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) along with a bathroom and an additional basin and WC. Downstairs is a kitchen, dining room with open fire and a sitting room with open fire and on the lower ground floor is a games room with pool table. There is also storage for bikes etc. in the cellar. Off road parking is available in a yard opposite the property, and there is a communal, front, riverside, grassed park with benches. Gilchrist House offers easy access to both the Dales and the Lakes national parks, making it a wonderful year-round base to explore the area. Note: There are 5 steep steps leading to one of the cottage entrances.

Gas central heating with open fires. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent, fuel for fires on honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 3 cars in yard opposite cottage, additional roadside parking available. Storage for bikes etc. in cellar. Communal, grassed, riverside park to the front of the property with benches. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 4 mins walk. Note: There are 5 steep steps leading to one of the cottage entrances. |

Settle is a small market town in Yorkshire, England. It has become popular as a tourist location in the area and is located not far from Langcliffe, Giggleswick, Long Preston, Horton-In-Ribblesdale, Austwick, and Hellifield and is one of over two hundred towns and villages in Yorkshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are Lancaster (population 45,952), Manchester (population 394,269), and Ripon (which has a population of 16,468 according to the 2001 Census).
